Mission Statement

T.R.A.N.S. is a cutting edge Consulting, Corporate Training and Community Advocacy firm located in the heart of K'jipuktuk (downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia). T.R.A.N.S. is a well-connected grassroots organization that specializes in providing comprehensive assistance to clients facing human resource, managerial and policy challenges. Our firm offers valuable consultations and education on a wide range of 2SLGBTQIA+ inclusion matters, ensuring that our clients receive the guidance and support they need to navigate delicate situations and changing social climates effectively. We work with a network of care of likeminded organizations to ensure we provide comprehensive services that encompass a compassionate, intersectional, harm reduction lens.

DEI (diversity, equity and inclusion) is a vital field of work and of growing importance for many business owners, service providers and government agencies alike. Creating inclusive spaces, especially those inclusive of 2SLGBTQIA+ people, is often daunting and requires expertise to be wholly inclusive. Many businesses and government service providers are seeking expert opinions to bring their human resources practices, company policies and procedures, events and corporate culture into the modern era

As an industry expert who spent years on the front lines of the public and private sectors pushing changes from behind the scenes, our Founder started this business from the perspective of being able to offer an authentic relationship and a safe space for clients to approach difficult conversations without fear of judgment. What sets us apart is our largely human focused service delivery, and our commitment to collective liberation and fostering unity.
By bridging gaps for businesses and service providers, we aim to foster multi-generational inclusion.
